Oddities from the road….
October 13th, 2009
Recently the business road trips have produced some interesting visuals…in one hotel I had a door hanger that gave me a weird feeling, I mean “Marinating”?

Next it was a hotel where the doorknockers were related to books…a bit more understandable:
Tonight I have checked into a hotel in Palm Springs and am in a newly renovated room. So, have you ever wondered what happened to all those Reader’s’ Digest Condensed Books that did not sell at the fifth used book sale? Look here:

I even have two different volumes of legal cases from Georgia; I best turn in and start reading? The mid-size books are actual novels, haven’t heard of them, but they have ISBNs. All are covered in “faux antique” paper with spines a pumpkin color to match the color accent used in the room. Oh, me.

Share your road trip treasures with us! Happy reading!
